Education occupies an important place in the formation of national identity, national consciousness of each nation, in the study of its history, material and spiritual culture. Therefore, education is one of the main strategic directions that determine the level of development of any country, the well-being of the people and their cultural achievements. Nakhchivan is an Azerbaijani land with a centuries-old history, rich material and cultural monuments and an ancient educational culture. Here, even in the Neolithic era, local tribes led a sedentary lifestyle, engaged in various economic and handicraft trades, education and upbringing. Studying the education of Nakhchivan for all periods and the dynamics of its development is of great relevance in the period under study. If to take a historical and pedagogical look at the development of education in Nakhchivan, we can see that there has been a high culture of education and upbringing in Nakhchivan since ancient times, as well as educated people. The monograph consists of an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion and a list of references
