The Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) appearing within the category Of anxiety disorders can be diagnosed in accordance with two different classification systems. Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-IV-TR; American Psychiatric Association, 2000) of these classification systems suggests that the main characteristic of the Generalized Anxiety Disorder is "excessive anxiety and worry" and is defined as the occurrence of these for a period of at least 6 years nearly every day about many incidents or events such as success in school and business.
